Several years ago I was witness to the wrecking ball and its powerful strength. Strength that is able to break through walls, penetrate structures and to clear paths with impressive and breathtaking ease. The immense power, the bursting energy, the powerful and dynamic chains combined in an interesting and lengthwise composition made me paint this painting with the thought of something that does not happen every day, that is not trivial or routine, something that is a bit different, something that symbolized absolute power and a real metaphor for clearing paths and overcoming obstacles.
